Liz Trenow reveals the fascinating 300 year history of her family’s silk weaving company spanning eleven generations from simple beginnings in 18th century Spitalfields to Sudbury, via Braintree. Liz, who was born and brought up in Sudbury, is the best-selling author of six novels, many of which have drawn on the intriguing tales she learned while researching the history of Stephen Walters and Sons. Her work has been published all over the world and in translation into nine languages. Her latest, The Dressmaker of Draper’s Lane, was published by Pan Macmillan in February 2019.
